Crafting shared meaning, fostering belonging, and evoking emotion—whether through comedy or heartfelt storytelling.

Born to a Canadian father and Mexican mother, Nina’s multicultural and multi-hyphenate background has allowed her to lend her talents to a broad range of projects, from directing progressive political campaign videos in English and Spanish to comedic branded content. Although she studied Very Serious Things like philosophy, literature, psychology and art, Nina naturally gravitated towards comedy and has become known for her work with Adobe. Her dry and satirical characters have been viewed by millions across Tiktok and Instagram.

As a self taught cinematographer, she specializes in dramatic interviews, and loves the process of developing a visual language and rules for narrative work. Shot across Italy, London, Mexico, Cuba, and the United States, her first documentary series Murder of God’s Banker premiered in 2023 on Paramount Plus, and her second documentary series Mafia Spies was released in 2024.

At the heart of all her projects, serious or comedic, Nina seeks to strengthen the bonds of human connection by inviting the audience to share meaning through their emotional responses, and create a sense of belonging for all.

In any position, she creates a collaborative working environment where all roles are respected, valued, and treated fairly.
