Anson is an artist and director best known for a carefully crafted style defined by rich sound and picture, in narrative, documentary, and especially, in commercial work. Anson has directed hundreds of national ad campaigns, short films, and TV series. Having started working on traditional film sets as an AC, then working as a DP for years, his writing and directing style is heavily informed by classical and art-action cinema. His experience and creative maturity shows in recent global campaigns for Volkswagen, Apple, John Deere, New Holland, Amtrak, Blue Cross and BF Goodrich. His personal film work has won more than 50 international film festival awards. When not directing for clients, he creates immersive art and shared VR environments.
